This year we donated school bags, exercise books, stationery kits, and essential supplies to over 27 institutions across the Kono District of Sierra Leone — including primary schools, preschools, Quranic learning centers, and chiefdom communities. These contributions reflect our unwavering commitment to education and the growth of the communities we serve.

During this heartwarming outreach event, KAPA organized and executed a comprehensive gift distribution initiative at a local hospital, targeting pregnant women and mothers of newborns. Unlike many distribution efforts that focus on a single area, KAPA's reach extended across the hospital's entire children's section. In a show of thorough planning and respect for the institution, the KAPA team notified the hospital ahead of time and coordinated directly with the medical doctor in charge, ensuring the distribution was smooth, orderly, and well-received by staff and patients alike. All donated items were transported to the hospital by vehicle, ready to be placed in the hands of those who needed them most.
The distribution itself was led with warmth and dedication by the CEO's wife, who personally handed gifts to mothers of newborns and pregnant women throughout the ward. The KAPA CEO was equally present on the ground, engaging directly with hospital leadership and walking the floor to connect with recipients. His personal attention extended to one mother who had mistakenly received the wrong items — he made sure she was given everything she was entitled to, leaving no one overlooked. Mr. Komba Soka of the KAPA team took the opportunity to interview several of the mothers, capturing their reactions and stories firsthand, while the KAPA media team documented the full event for the record.
The reaction from recipients was one of pure joy and gratitude. Mothers and families described the gifts as a complete surprise — none had expected such generosity. One father was moved to express how much the items would have cost him out of pocket, highlighting just how meaningful and timely KAPA's support was for families at one of the most vulnerable and joyful moments of their lives. The women were visibly elated, and their appreciation for KAPA's work was sincere and deeply felt.
Each gift package was thoughtfully assembled to meet the immediate needs of newborns and their mothers. Items included baby wash, baby lotion, baby oil, pacifiers, bibs, baby towels, wipes, diapers, baby Vaseline, baby dresses, baby shoes, pyjamas, baby food, feeding bottles, and more. Through this distribution, KAPA once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the health, dignity, and wellbeing of the Kono community — showing up not just with resources, but with care, intention, and a personal touch that left a lasting impression on every family it reached.

Our donation of 30 computers to Fourah Bay College (FBC) and 25 computers to IPAM marks a transformative step towards bringing the digital age to the forefront of education in Sierra Leone. These contributions not only provide hardware but represent a pivotal moment in the academic landscape of both institutions.
By infusing technology into the classrooms and campuses of FBC and IPAM, we are enabling students and faculty to access a whole new world of knowledge and possibilities. The 55 computers serve as gateways to vast online libraries, research databases, and collaborative platforms, allowing for a richer and more dynamic learning experience.
In an era where digital literacy and technological competency are prerequisites for success, our donation empowers students to harness the power of technology, enhancing their research, communication, and problem-solving skills. It also broadens horizons by exposing them to emerging fields, ensuring they are prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the future.
